What was once a generous gift from the Education Personnel Association 32 years ago now is considered just another bench that resides outside Gaylord. To leave Doane's secluded hide-out, one must make the daunting hike up its hidden unstable stairs. The morning sunshine illuminates the bridge's rectangular openings, creating an oddly shaped shadow in its glowing path. As Crete drowns in rain this spring, the brick of Doane's Gaylord holds on to every drop that hits the buliding. Author Staff View all posts
