Give celebrities their privacy

When it comes to my opinion articles I don’t really bring up politics or anything similar to that, however I feel this is something that needs to be brought up. Taylor Swift’s new album is potentially the most relatable album when it comes to singers and songwriters.

Taylor Swift even flat out said “I feel bitter about just all the things we do to our artists as a society and as a culture. There’s a lot about this particular concept in The Tortured Poets Department. What do we do to our writers, and our artists, and our creatives?” Along with that, many Swifties very recently found out that she wasn’t doing the best mentally when it came to her Eras Tour, and honestly, I am really glad she expressed that.

Now I am not going to give you my opinion about Taylor Swift because that isn’t the point of this piece, the point of this piece is how artists go through stuff as well, and they have a right to whether they want to be public with that or not.

I believe that celebrities should get more privacy when it comes to their lives, for example Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship and people questioning why they were in the crowds at Coachella instead of being in a private area; they are trying to be normal people.

Another example is when celebrities go to a basketball game, football game or any type of social event and they get recognized and the cameras cut to them. Or when these celebrities are just trying to enjoy themselves at their own houses and relax, and they get fans waiting for them outside their doors.

I know this is something that we all know exists but this is also something that isn’t really talked about, and I feel we need to bring more attention to it.
