Football ends season with a win

On Nov. 16, the Tigers had their final game of the season where they achieved a huge away victory 22-21 against Mount Marty University. The final overall record for the Tigers this season was 3-8 and they finished with an 8th position in the GPAC.

The whole game was very close and was settled in the last quarter. The first quarter was to end in a 7-all tie, while at halftime, Doane University trailed 14-7. Mount Marty managed to tie the score in the third quarter and finally, the game would be decided in the last quarter.

Freshman Sam Hartman had an outstanding performance finishing the game with 14 completions for 257 yards and three touchdowns. At the same time, Hartman led the team with 57 rushing yards on eight carries.
