On Jan. 24, the Tigers traveled to Lincoln to compete in the Prairie Wolf Invite, along with another meet on the 25th.
Starting off the Prairie Wolf Invite in the 60m dash was senior Jadae Moore, who placed first with a time of 7.00. Along with Moore was junior Connor Bradly, who placed second with a time of 7.02; placing fourth was sophomore Devon Jackson with a time of 7.07. Finishing up in seventh for the Tigers was sophomore Daniel Concepcion, who finished with a time of 7.18.
Competing in the 200m was Bradly, who placed first with a time of 22.27, with Moore placing second with a time of 22.36. Placing fourth was Concepcion, who had a time of 22.81, and following him was Jackson, who finished with a time of 23.04, placing him fifth.
In the 60m Hurdles, the Tigers had freshman Andrew Brown, who had a time of 8.04, placing him first. Running in the Men’s 4×400 was junior Joaquin Gutierrez, junior Caleb Mulder, Brown and senior Zach Turner, who ended in a time with 3:16.50, which placed them first.
Switching over to the field events, placing first in the Men’s High Jump with a mark of 2.01m was senior Dylan Starr. Following Starr was sophomore Peyton Herrick, who ended second with a mark of 1.96m. Finishing the High Jump was freshman Jackson Kessler, who had a mark of 1.96m, which placed him fourth.
In the Pole Vault, placing first with a mark of 4.50m was junior Branson McDonald. Placing fifth and sixth was senior Drew Garrison and sophomore Ashton Pulliam, who both had a mark of 4.20m. Having a mark of 6.24m in the Men’s Long Jump was sophomore Micheal Willey, which placed him seventh, with senior Zach Fye to follow with a mark of 6.14m.
Competing in the Triple Jump was freshman Brian Cech, placing third with a 13.98m, and finishing in fourth was freshman Kyler Nichols, who had a mark of 13.88m. Finishing in the triple jump was freshman Callan McKinney, who had a mark of 12.60m, which placed him fifth.
Going into shot put was junior Andrew Schmitz, who placed sixth with a mark of 15.23m, with sophomore Colton Dillon placing eighth with a mark of 14.82m. Finishing in 10th with a mark of 14.81 was junior Cale Bessler, with sophomore Tad Dimmitt placing 14th with a mark of 14.48m.
In the Weight Throw was senior Trey Dickey, who placed second with a mark of 18.81m, with sophomore Jaden Vollenweider placing fourth with a mark of 17.42m. In fifth place with a mark of 17.38m was Schmitz, and in 13th was Dimmitt with a mark of 14.50m.
The Tigers also competed in the Concordia Classic in Seward, Nebraska. Starting off in the 60m, Connor Bradley finished in fifth with a time of 7.00, with Jadae Moor placing sixth with a time of 7.05.
In the 200m was sophomore Jonathan Zoubek, who had a time of 24.09, finished 19th with sophomore Miguel Alarcon placing 26th with a time of 24.46. Finishing the 200m was senior Jackson Eurek, who placed 35th with a time of 24.87.
Running in the 400m was Zach Turner, who placed first, with a time of 48.50, along with Joaquin Gutierrez who had a time of 49.38, which placed him second. Placing fourth with a time of 50.79 was Caleb Mulder, and finishing 11th was Zoubek, who had a time of 52.80. Finishing the 400m was junior Dakota Miser, who had a time of 52.93, which placed him 14th.
Placing third in the 600m was sophomore Eli Marez who had a time of 1:24.12, and placing 11th was freshman Parker Gaston who had a time of 1:26.52. Finishing up the 600m was junior Jordan Kwiatkowski with a time of 1:28.79 placing him 15th, senior John Dawes who ran a 1:31.35, which placed him 21st and freshman Joseph Seifferlein who had a time of 1:34.70, placing him 25th.
In the 800m was Micheal Grigsby, who had a time of 1:58.05, which placed him first. Following Grigsby was junior Will Dawes, finishing in third with a time of 2:01.51. Placing fifth was sophomore Nate O’Brien, who had a time of 2:01.89 and placing ninth was sophomore Logan Brooks, who had a time of 2:05.11. Having a time of 2:06.44 and finishing in 11th was senior Will Wenz, and finishing up the 800m was sophomore Jake Parsley, who had a time of 2:11.95, which placed him 16th.
Running in the 1000m was freshman Alex Fowler, who had a time of 2:39.42, which placed him ninth. In the 3000m was freshman Jayden Wall, with a time of 9:08.25, which placed him 13th. Junior Emmanuel Yego, who had a time of 9:20.26, placed 20th.
In the 5000m was freshman Porter Bickley, who had a time of 15:28.61, which placed him first. In fourth was senior Nelson Ruto, who had a time of 16:22.27, with freshman Cody Smith behind him, who had a time of 16:27.18, which placed him fifth. Having a time of 17:03.28, was senior Jakob Tadlock, who placed ninth.
In the 4×400 the Tigers had two teams. Squad A, which consisted of Moore, Marez, Bradley and O’Brien, placed fourth with a time of 3:24.34. Placing sixth was Squad B, which consisted of Wenz, Fowler, Miser and Gaston, who had a time of 3:30.37.
Competing in the Men’s Long Jump was sophomore Andrew Harms, who had a mark of 6.96m, placing him second. Also competing was sophomore Addison Croghan, who placed sixth with a mark of 6.59m.
Placing 15th in shot put was freshman DaMarcus Cannon, who had a mark of 12.92m, along with sophomore Sam Hartman who had a mark of 12.69m, which placed him 19th. In 26th place with a mark of 12.03m was freshman Kellen Anderson.
Going into the Weight Throw was junior Josh Fee, who placed 12th with a mark of 14.48m, along with junior Carson Lavaley, who had a mark of 14.21m and placed 15th. Placing 17th was Hartman, who had a mark of 13.94m, and placing 25th was freshman Mason Crumbliss with a mark of 13.19m. Finishing up the weight throw was freshman Andrew Englund, who had a mark of 11.58m, which placed him 38th.
On Feb 1, the Tigers will be competing in the Fred Beile Classic, at Fuhrer Field House.
