
On Jan. 30, the Cheer and Dance teams competed in the Doane Invite where both teams walked away with first place.
Starting off with the Cheer team, they took their “Wow” dynamic stunt and set the standard by being the first team to hit the mat. Although the Tigers got a 2.25 point deduction, they had a final score of 72.60, whereas Hastings College came up second with a score of 71.05.
Switching over to the Dance side of the competition, the Hastings Broncos were the first ones on the floor, where they received a final score of 62.65. Ending the competition the Tigers received a final score of 79.15 points.
On Feb. 7, the Tigers will be traveling to York, Nebraska, to compete in the York Crown Classic, and on Feb. 8 the Cheer team will be competing against Missouri Valley College and MidAmerica Nazarene University and the Dance team will be taking on Oklahoma City University and Grand View University in Seward, Nebraska, in the Concordia Duals.
