On Jan. 31 and Feb 1, the Tigers competed in the 2025 Fred Beile Classic here at Fuhrer Field House.
Starting in the 60m dash, taking first was sophomore Devon Jackson, who had a time of 6.94. And taking home second place was senior JaDae Moore, who had a time of 6.95, and having a time of 7.05 was sophomore Daniel Concepcion.
Taking first place in the 200m was Moore, who had a time of 22.60, with Concepcion right after him with a time of 23.07.
In the 600m was sophomore Eli Marez, who had a time of 1:25.44, which placed him second, and junior Dakota Miser, who had a time of 1:26.86, placing him fifth. Placing third in the 800m was freshman Alex Fowler, who had a time of 2:02.26.
Running in the 1000m was junior Emmanuel Yego, who had a time of 2:37.30, which placed him first. Placing fifth in the same race was sophomore Nate O’Brien, who had a time of 2:44.76.
Taking home first in the mile was junior Micheal Grigsby, who had a time of 4:17.38. Also running in the same race was freshman Jayden Wall, who had a time of 4:28.32, placing him fourth. Junior Will Dawes, who had a time of 4:29.08, placed fifth.

In the 3000m was freshman Porter Bickley, who had a time of 8:56.25, which placed him first, along with senior Nelson Ruto, who had a time of 9:21.45, which placed him fifth.
Jumping over the hurdles in the 60m was senior Zach Turner, who had a time of 7.83, which placed him first. In the same race was freshman Andrew Brown, who placed third with a time of 8.01, and sophomore Addison Croghan, who had a time of 8.31, which placed him fourth.
Running in the 4×400 relay were O’Brien, senior Will Wenz, sophomore Parker Gaston and junior Dakota Miser, who together placed second with a time of 3:33.70.
Jumping in the high jump were senior Carter Reckling and senior Dylan Starr, who tied for first with a mark of 2.09m. Placing third was sophomore Andrew Harms, who had a mark of 2.09m as well, and placing fourth was sophomore Jackson Kessler, who had a mark of 2.03m.
In the pole vault was senior Drew Garrison, who had a mark of 4.30m, which placed him third. In the same event was junior Branson McDonald, who had a mark of 4.15m, which placed him fourth.
Placing first in the long jump was sophomore Brian Cech, who had a mark of 6.74m. Having a mark of 6.61m was sophomore Micheal Willey, which placed him second, and placing third was Croghan, who had a mark of 6.55m.
In the triple jump was Brown, who had a mark of 14.29m, placing him first, with Cech right behind with a mark of 14.05m, putting him in second. Placing third was freshman Kyler Nichols, who had a mark of 13.53m.
Going into the shot put was junior Cale Bessler, who had a mark of 15.87m, which placed him second. Placing third was junior Christopher Brown, who had a mark of 15.83m. Placing first in the weight throw was senior Trey Dickey, who had a mark of 19.87m, along with junior Andrew Schmitz, who had a mark of 18.67m, placing him second. Finishing with a mark of 18.17m was sophomore Jaden Vollenweider, which placed him third.
Finishing off with the heptathlon was senior Mason Zimmerman, who had a total of 3,905 points, which placed him third.
On Feb. 7, the Tigers will be traveling to Seward, Nebraska, to compete in the Concordia Invitational.
