On Feb. 7, the Tigers traveled to York, Nebraska to compete in the York Crown Classic, where the Tigers walked away with a final score of 68.12, which placed them ninth overall.
Now transitioning into Feb. 8, the Doane Tigers traveled to Seward, Nebraska, to compete against Missouri Valley College and MidAmerica Nazarene University at the Concordia Duals.
Starting off with the dual against Missouri Valley, the Tigers walked away with a score of 91.55 placing them second, which was one of the five highest scores after the first round of duals out of the twelve other participating teams.
Now facing their second dual of the day with MidAmerica Nazarene, the Tigers finishing this dual also placed second but had a score of 80.1, while MidAmerica Nazarene had a score of 87.45. With the Tigers getting this score, they once again walked away with one of the five highest scores.
Switching over to dance, the dance team also competed in the York Crown Classic, where they received second place with a score of 84.07.
Along with that, the dance team also competed in the Concordia Duals as well, however they took on Grand View College and Oklahoma City University.
Starting off with taking on Grand View, the dance team walked away with a score of 82.75 which placed them second. Now switched over to the dual against Oklahoma City, they finished with a score of 84.75, which they also took second as well.
On Feb. 19, both Cheer and Dance teams will be traveling to Hastings, Nebraska, to take on Hastings College.
