On Feb. 8, the Men’s Basketball team played an away conference game against Briar Cliff University. The Tigers lost 88-76. Doane’s conference record is 4-12, while the overall record for the season is 9-15. The team aims to improve its results as the end of the season approaches and hopes to finish strong, especially in the conference.
The most important player in the loss was junior Casen Chaney, who scored 20 points. Another essential player for the Tigers was senior Caleb Hrabik, who had nine rebounds and four assists. This was a strong performance for Hrabik, who is playing his last season for the Tigers and wants to finish the season as well as possible.
The Doane Tigers’ next game is against Midland University on Feb. 12 in the Haddix Center. The game will start at 7:45 p.m.
