Apes host pie fundraiser in Brodie kitchen

On March 27, Alpha Pi Epsilon hosted an event to raise money for their fraternity. The fundraising took place in Brodie Kitchen from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event was also a social gathering for students, as well as other sororities and fraternities, who showed their support for Alpha Pi Epsilon. With music playing and students chatting in groups, the event had a welcoming atmosphere.

After filling out a Google Form, students were able to purchase freshly made mini pies for four dollars per pie. Ice cream was also available, with each scoop costing one dollar. There was also an option for delivery to students’ rooms at an additional cost. The available pie flavors included apple, blueberry, cherry and peach. Many flavors, such as blueberry, were so popular that more had to be made.

“I thought it was a very nice social event,” Olivia Prauner said, a freshman involved in golf and Gamma Phi Iota. “Being a part of it was really nice since you can interact with different people that we have not seen from Bridge Crossing.”

Alpha Pi Epsilon takes pride in its various activities and service hours, representing brotherhood, sociability and trust. This was well demonstrated at the event, as members assisted students with their forms and ensured that all orders were correct.
