Last week, the Men’s Golf team competed in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Championships. The team as a whole finished in third place in addition to great individual performances on the course.
The Tigers went through the first round with a score of 296 and finished the second round with a score of 304. These scores landed the Tigers in fourth place, but they came back with a great showing in the third round with a score of 308 to put themselves in third.
Senior Ryan Weiss finished in the top ten with eighth place and a score of 226. This is Weiss’s third All-American honor in the GPAC Championship.
Junior Sam Arnold placed 13th after tying with a score of 228. Junior Blake Skoumal tied for 15th with a score of 229 and his teammate junior Noah Miller was close behind in 18th with a score of 231. Freshman Jack Miller rounded out the placements in 24th and a score of 234.
The Men’s Golf team finishes their season with eight top-ten team placements throughout the season.
