Las Vegas in the state of Nevada is one of the most awesome and peculiar cities in the world. Since I was a child I have dreamed of visiting Las Vegas, because this city appears in many different movies and TV shows, and the simple fact of hearing the name Las Vegas makes an impact.
Finally, I had the opportunity to visit Las Vegas with my girlfriend this last Thanksgiving break, and in general, I had an amazing time. Sincerely, it was what I expected but you can’t help but be totally impressed by the city’s hotels, casinos, lights, people and atmosphere. Each hotel you visit is more impressive than the last and the incredible thing is that each hotel has a different theme — for example, medieval, Egyptian, Brazilian, pirate, Roman, Greek and New York, and without a doubt the most beautiful one is Paris, with a replica of the Eiffel Tower and a hot air balloon. Las Vegas has many more hotels since it is a city totally focused on tourism.
Secondly, there is the issue of gambling and betting. It is impossible to visit Las Vegas and not gamble in its amazing casinos, always with a level head and a certain degree of control. Before I visited Las Vegas, I had never gambled or played in my life and I was eager to try it. I especially played roulette, which is one of the easiest casino games to understand. Playing in the various casinos gives you a feeling of adrenaline that is truly addictive. Therefore, it should be emphasized that you should always aim for a certain level of control so that your vacation is not ruined by bad decisions.
Another thing to highlight about the city is the security, especially on the Strip. We never had any problems and also, if you stay on the Strip, you have the benefit of good communications and proximity to everything. The only thing farther away is the famous Las Vegas sign and Fremont Street. But the city has a great bus service that allows you to easily get to both places.
In conclusion, I had an amazing experience during my time in Las Vegas and I highly recommend that everyone visit it at least once.
