On Jan. 24-25, the Tigers traveled to Marshall, Missouri, to compete in the Missouri Valley Invite, where they were able to walk away in third place.
In the 125 weight class was senior Hunter Bennett and freshman Brian Peck, where Bennett placed second with a score of 5-1, while Peck ended with a score of 3-2. Competing in the 133 were junior Matthew Terrence and freshman Anthony Harris. Terrence ended in third place with a final score of 8-1, while Harris ended with a score of 4-2.
In the 141 was junior Tristen Brown, who had a score of 4-2; also competing in the 165 was senior Kody Hahn, who ended with a score of 1-2. Having a score of 1-2 in the 184 was senior Kolton Kammeyer, and in the 197 was senior Kasten Grape, who tied for first with a score of 6-0.
Tying with Grape was senior Bradley Antesberger, who also had a final score of 6-0. Finishing up for the Tigers in the 285 was junior Angelo Franco and sophomore Eli Criblez, with Franco having a final score of 1-2, and Criblez ending in seventh with a score of 5-2.
On Jan. 31 the Tigers will be competing against William Penn University at Haddix. The meet is set to start at 6 p.m.
