Staff Editorial: The symphonic chaos we live in

With Homecoming coming to a close, between skit night, the return of alumni, a football game, concerts and the AO Social, it reminds us of this: life is chaotic, messy, but also enjoyable. Along with that, fall break is coming up, and some might think they are finally at that point where they’re a dolphin leaping out of the water with rainbows behind them, listening to the song “Symphony” by Zara Larsson.

Then you soon realize that midterms are approaching, deadlines are creeping up on you and then it hits you. You’re Elmo in a literal fire. Additionally, you can start to feel your D1 crashout happening, which can be slightly terrifying. But it hits you, you’re going from an exciting, eventful week to exams, to maintaining a social life, to trying to find time for yourself and honestly? That is the whole point.

So breathe, laugh at the fire, dive into the rainbow. Although the chaos stresses us out, it also shows us that life can be wild, ridiculous, but perfect and heartwarming all at the same time.
