Men’s & Women’s Soccer

On Oct. 4, the Men’s soccer team played at home against Dakota Wesleyan University; the men’s team lost 0 – 4. 

Junior and goalkeeper, Curtis Oberg, had seven saves on the goal, with Mateo Jelicich having three shots on the goal. 

Switching gears to the Women’s soccer team, who played at home against Dakota Wesleyan University, the women’s team tied 0-0. 

Junior and goalkeeper,  Virginia Johnson, had three saves on the goal, with sophomore Hayle Brodline having one shot on the goal.  

Men’s soccer and Women’s soccer play their next game on Oct. 8, at home against Midland University.  Men’s soccer plays at 5:00 p.m., and the women will play at 7:15 p.m.

Men’s & Women’s Tennis

On Friday, Oct. 3, and Saturday, Oct. 4, both tennis teams participated in the Hastings Individual Invitational in Hastings, Nebraska. 

In the men’s tennis team, taking the lead was freshman Jaime Asiain, who walked away with a win in finals.. . 

Switching over to the women’s tennis team, junior Maria Purizaca won the final 6-1, 6-1 against sophomore Liz Calderon. 

Next up, the Men’s team will be traveling to Omaha, Nebraska, to take on Creighton University on Saturday, Oct. 18 with the Women’s team playing at home on Friday, Oct. 24 against Truman State University.
