Doane Esports had three matches last week: a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate match against the University of Nebraska Omaha on February 27, an Overwatch 2 match against the University of Wisconsin-Platteville on Feb. 29, and a Rocket League match against Bradley University on Friday, March 1
Doane’s match against the University of Nebraska-Omaha proved difficult, with Doane failing to win a game in the set against the Mavericks, falling 0-2 in a tough showing.
On to Overwatch 2, Doane won their match against University of Wisconsin-Platteville in convincing fashion, winning the set 3-0 and did not drop a single game during the process, going 12-0 in all the games played.
In the Rocket League match, Doane swept Bradley with a 3-0 sweep. Doane started the first game with a 5-1 win, which they rode to a 2-0 win and a 3-2 win clinched in overtime. Doane’s Rocket League team improves to 4-2 in their first-ever season of competition.
Doane’s Esports next match comes against St. Cloud State University in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and will be streamed on Doane Esports Twitch at twitch.tv/doaneesports.
