Do you want to play casino style games, get free food and have the chance to win amazing prizes? Well, you’re in luck. On Feb. 2, the Student Programming Board (SPB) will be hosting their annual Glow Casino.

Spencer Munson, the head of SPB, thinks that people will be amazed by the spectacle of the blacklights and the glowing decorations and toys. “It’s a super fun event revolving around casino style games in the backlit glow atmosphere with a chance to win big prizes by winning fake money,” Munson said.

SPB spent over $1,500 on prizes ranging from 50” TVs , Apple AirPods, Bluetooth speakers, Hydroflasks, Doane merch, giant plushies, Legos and more.

“It was started as a tradition years ago and has grown into one of SPB and campus’ biggest events. Since Covid, we have started pulling 250+ students attending,” Munson said. “We hired an event company from Omaha to bring the casino games.”

This event is set to take place on Feb. 2 from nine to eleven in Art and Ed rooms 236 to 242. Any Doane student who is taking classes at Doanes campus can attend this event.
